Does anyone have any info on the Pigeon Creek trails, such as whether they are technical, rolling, hard pack, loose or whatever? If it can be compared to some other course on the AMBCS calendar that would be very helpful. The Pigeon Roast race is coming up in April and I am just trying to get an idea of what to expect from the course. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not very technical if compared to Syllamo. Mostly hard pack with a couple sections of loose rock, but those sections are short. Riding CCW, there will be two reasonably long climbs. All of it is easily accomplished via single speed. Pinch flats are common for those that insist on riding low pressure with tubes.

Thanks for the info, it looks as though it will be a lot of fun. I've heard that Syllamo is pretty technical and was going to skip the race if it was going to be held there. I have a lot more fun on faster/flowing trails. So cool, I'll put it back on my schedule. Thanks again.

that looks surprisingly flat almost like some local trails here in wisconsin
I assume Syllamo is a bit more technical w/more elevation gain...
any insights?
thanks

Is there a bike shop in the general area of Lake Norfork or Mountain View?
We need to rent a bike or two.
Thanks.
