Whats up with the graphics being used on the 2008 monocog 29er, shiny brown frame with yellow lettering ? How's it look in person, as I've decided to purchase an 08 monocog. Pictures of past monocogs have used more of a flat color (brown or green). The new color isn't seeming to float my boat.

I like the new color. It looks more black to me than dark brown and yes it is shiny! The disco style lettering really makes it pop with the shiny coat. Like all Redlines, the pictures that you see on-line don't do them justice! It looks like its moving even when it is sittin' still!

I've also heard there is a bit of metallic in that shiny black paint.

I really like it. It is black with some metallic in it and the lettering is more of a yellow gold. I personally like it better than the flat brown of last years. Here is a pic of mine.
