I went to the bike shop the other day ready to spend $1000 on a new bike, but fell in love this this ride and walked out the door with $500 still in my pocket. I've never owned a rigid, 29er, or single speed before and so far I LOVE it. It's definitely more challenging, but way more fun! anyways here it is.....

Enjoy! for your first single or 29er, you can't go wrong with the monocog. Only upgrades you may want to consider are the seat and headset. Some people have issues w/ the headset coming loose.
