It should be possible to achieve sub 30lb, without to much trouble.

Fury by nature is AM bike, you can use XC assembly / parts, but you loosing a good tool for AM/FR

I my self are the Israeli dealer of MC (www.ofanaor.co.il), there fore I done some Fury with variety of configurations.

One of the Fury was 30Lb, thus means appx 13.5Kg
Fork – Fox Vannila R 130mm
Shox – Fox RP3 5"
Wheels – Sunrims DC2
Full Shimano Deore – Hydraulic Brakes, Habs, Triggers, Crank Shimano LX hollow
Cock Pit – Over size bar, short stem, Serfas seat
Tires – Kenda Nevegal 2.3 front 2.1 rear

If you will use some carbon parts you can reduce the weight more.
