Howdy,

We're meeting at the Bristlecone Loop Trail Head in the morning at 7:30 for a ride with BARTA.

Everyone is welcome. The Bristlecone Loop is a techincally easy trail (now) at 8,000-9,000 ft. level.

My friend and I will be there. I just rode this trail for the first time a few days ago. Kinda funny as Ive been riding in vegas going on 5 years. Look foward to meeting some peeps there. Hopefully this is a casual ride as Im kinda slow:)

It'll be plenty casual. Very few of the BARTA gang are racer types -- if anyone shows up! ;)

Very sweet little loop. Beautiful views and fun descent. I added the little out and back up the Bonanza Trail (Or is it Ponderosa?) up to the wilderness boundary the last time I did it which is a fun killer climb with some fun switchbacks. Anyone know if this is legal? The original reviewer in the trail reviews section mentions it, but the sign at the bottom makes it sound like the whole trail is off limits to bikes.

Looks like a freshly painted sign was at the turn off for the Bonanza Trail when I was up there.Definitely no bikes allowed. Too bad cause it does look like fun,

Thanks for the heads-up on the ride matt. I had a good time and always enjoy meeting new people to ride with. Too bad shorty was so tired as I would have liked to have done that shuttle with you guys. How did that go? Can you give me an idea as to where you guys parked to start the ride? I seen where you parked to end the ride just need the starting point:) Seeya next time,

We parked at the west side pullout at the top of the Lee/Kyle connection road. There were some guys on downhill rigs that we caught and followed down the mountain. Not to shabby for some short travel xc riders.
