Subject says it all.. I build old cars as a hobby and do quite a bit of welding.. Have gotten obsessed with bikes this year in particular and would love to come check out someone if anyone's setup, if they are pro or even if they are amateur. Last night over some beers a friend was mentioning a custom builder in SLC but I forgot their name... I posted up in the Utah section with limited response, if anyone has any leads feel free to post up or contact me directly! Thanks, Andre

Try posting this question on www.frameforum.net too. I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple guys from SLC, UT on there.
Good luck!

I lucked out and through that thread I'm going down to the shop of a local road bike builder who does brazing in the next couple of days...

Very cool, I was sent his link yesterday. Basically exactly what I am looking for :) I hope I can get ahold of him (I hear he goes out of town a lot and/or is in the Military?)... I left a message last night. Been dreaming of a custom titanium bike already specifically the last couple days :) Pretty much already know the complete geometry :)

I checked out a couple of Edwin's frames this weekend. My friend who works at White Pine Touring in Park City was given a few to build up and demo. These were steel but they were nice and clean. A 26er and a 29er. He is out of town for a couple more months but word on the street is he is moving to Heber City and hopefully I can rope him into our little pool of crazy welders and metal worker and fabricators in Heber who do all sorts of cool stuff... :)

There is a great frame builder in Idaho. He does all kinds of custom work, mostly 26" BMX cruisers. I have never personally met him but I have seen his work in person and it is top-notch. This (http://www.thursdaybicycles.com/) is his website. Maybe a bit of a drive but seems to know what he is talking about.

thursday is a great guy. i've known him since the early 90's when he was starting out in az. he is a wealth of fab info. also in utah is jon @ www.sabrosacycles.blogspot.com he's making some beautiful stuff. he's in st. george. kurt anderson used to be in moab, but he moved to builder-starved oregon. curiously, i have sold frames all over the usa but none in utah. co, az, nv, nm, id, or, ca, fl, ok, tx, ny, va, dc, ect, but no utah.........steve.
