I just read with interest the post concerning MC's current situation. I like many of you have anxiously awaited the rebirth of MC and their fine designs and quality frames. The post left me with a feeling of unease, though. Eight new models???? No wonder nothing is seeing the light of day. I can't help but wonder why MC hasn't concentrated on development of two or three models that fill the needs of the more popular riding styles today. Those being pretty much the same as they have been for the last ten years. XC, Freeriding and Downhilling.....regardless of what they call them today. Wouldn't it be better to move into the market with a couple of well thought out and executed designs now than to hold out for eight models with possibly overlapping personalities?
I dunno...I'm not a business genius, but I do love my Ventanas and my MCs.
BTW....what was his comment concerning the Zen all about? Is there something about the Zen I don't know? Next to my El Chamuco, it is my favorite bike.
Let's get the ball rolling MC. All the mystery and hype is only going to keep people interested for a little while.....this forum is not getting that much read. Maybe because people are more interested in actualities than possibilities.
Good Luck,

(That's right, Catamount...as in 1996 handbuilt URT...anyone seen Larry Pastor lately?)
