Does anybody have real dim's for the standover of the 2008 fantoms? the geometry specs show 28.5 at lowest point for the 18", but I saw a post here that showed it 32 at true standover location(quite a difference!). I'm in between 16 and 18" so I'd like real world info. I'm leaning towards the Pro because of the revalation fork, and am assuming the different fork lengths would result in different standover height towards the head tube?

are you talking the ds or the hardtail version? if you're in between, i'd go for the 18....just get a shorter stem, and a seatpost with no rear offset....as for standover, you should remember the fact that you bought a bike to ride it, not to stand over it..how tall are you btw? that'll give a better idea of what advice people can give...

I'm looking at the hardtails. I'm 5'7". I currently have a 17" Kona which is perfect size for me. I know what you're saying about buying it to ride and not stand over. I just get a little nervous taking all my measurements from a drawing. My inseam(pants) is 29. I have a long torso and arms.

if you have a long torso and arms, you'll need an 18...kona's run a little longer in top tube length than other brands...so you deffinatly dont wanna go down from a 17 to a 16....you gotta go 18 all the way....just throw a shorter stem on there, and a seatpost with no offset...
