Just wondering about Eurobike (I'm in the UK) and Interbike - whether any of the projects in development have got any further... It would be good if there were some all new bikes (anything happening with updated San Andreas?). New graphics and improvements look good, but the last new bikes shown were the Battery and DNA, back in 2005.

BTW, what happened with the polished (and totally cool looking) SA Classic, from last year's shows. With all the polishing going on with classic MC's, it seems everyone loves a shiny bike, so any chance of a limited edition run of the polished Classic frame? If not, I'd love to see that frame built up with wish list kit.

I have it, from a well informed source, that the new designs will begin showing in 2009 and be available for sale in 2010.

The Fury's head angle has been slackened about 2 deg. This will give the big hit riders a little slacker head angle and make the Fury more in line with current trail bike geometries when fitted with a 140mm fork.
Word has it, that a very well known suspension designer is working with MC to make some awesome new bikes, so be patient.
If the rumor I heard is true, it'll be worth the wait.
MC wants to do long term testing and make sure the new bikes will be a smashing success.

Later, Eric. :D

Edit: I removed the San Andreas Info, as it is NOT being retooled for production. Sorry folks, I misread something.

They should post up some teaser pics to REALLY get people talking..
It's a great way to get the name back out there..
Hint, Hint, :D

Shame on you Eric!
That kind of thing leads too industrial espionage.

If it makes any of you feel better, most of the people at MC haven't even seen the new designs.
The operation is that 007. :p

Has anyone else noticed, how many views this thread has gotten? :D

I removed the San Andreas Classic info in my previous post, as I discovered I misread a post by Krien.
It turns out, they will not be retooling for the Classic.
