I recently purachased a Motobecane 700DS, and would like to know if anyone has had experience with these bikes? If so, what do you recommend in terms of replacement components or adjustments to settings on these bikes. Do any components wear quickly? If anyone has any suggestions please advise. Thanks

I'd replace both shocks if you want to keep it for a while and to be able to trail ride. The frame is strong, but heavy. The wheelset is also solid, but heavy. I've replaced all my parts on my 700DS except for my wheelset. I know I can beat the hell out of the wheelset. The bike can be turned into a solid All Mountain machine with a little extra cash.
