I was looking around and found this MOTOBECANE bike at bikesdirect.com and I would like to hear from you guys what you think about this bike. Should I buy it? Maybe someone owns that bike. Please give information. Thank You.

I picked one up off of Ebay for about $587 w/ shipping. So far, so good. The bike came as advertised. No damage, tight welds, pre-assembled ~90% (though you should go over it fully, to be safe). I have added accessories to get it to my needs (Cateye lights, Origin8 air suspension post, etc) but nothing stood out structurally as needing to be replaced immediately. I have seen nothing that can stand up to it for the money. My LBS has said that they are hearing good things about the company(?) Who knows. Time will tell, but so far, I heartily recommend it to the budget conscious mtbr.

Got mine a few weeks ago, good so far. Only thing I've changed is the pedals. Nice and light, btw, haven't weighed it, but feels light to me...
