Mmmm... custom carbon fiber. Not mine, but I wish it was. Got this off of Frameforum. I hope Mr. Crumpton doesn't mind me appropriating this for our viewing pleasure.

man, I wish the belt drive thing would have made it, but all current belts that work cant stand the torque of SSing. that was the problem with the Jericho and with the new Orange (have a friend who's ridden it)

ok, back on topic now!

They seem to think they have solved it and they are going to have a Rohloff cog as well! Very interesting if it works out, curious to see how efficent the belt drive would be.

They should borrow some motorcycle technology then... Harley Davidson/Buell have been using belt drives for years now. When I worked in a shop I saw under 10 broken belts... thats over a 4 year period. They were rated for something like 65,000 miles.

Surely your legs can't match what the V-Twins put out...

Perhaps a show bike for Interbike featuring the new carbon belt drive system (which looks mighty trick)

I had the pleasure of spending a day with Nick a week and a half ago while visiting Texas.
Was a great day, well, any day that starts off with a sushi lunch is a great day in my book.

Anyhow, Nick and I chatted in his shop for a few hours and I got to see a whole lot of good looking stuff in the rafters awaiting paint, etc. I will add that Nick has really mastered the art of working with carbon fiber. I am not just saying that as a friend, but as an accomplished builder myself.

The brother has it down to a science.

Ok, I've got 2 questions....

a) The pic that sean350, what's the MK tile cutter used for?

b) Is that a kevlar/Carbon fiber mix to get that orangy look?
