...in real life, that one looks a bit small to haul though,...unless you're Tiny, Tiny, Tiny Tim. "God bless us everyone!" I was just mulling over how cool it would be if you could design a miniature RC Helicopter with it's own cameras for both video and tracking your motion behind you, electric of course to cut down on noise, etc. We've got a big park nearby with a sandy slope exposed to the sun where the local RC glider plane crowd does some awesome stuff over the resulting thermals. Many are custom made. One of them told me the military has actually experimented with RC gliders for surveilance.
bike26 01-31-2004, 07:38 PM i know its only a toy , but this things got power , i drive it outside , on the snow now and it can climb snow banks that are six feet tall , and it bites on ice , it came with shitty , graphics , so i switched them to the cooler ones
Ive always wanted a RC plane or helecopter , they would be awesome to fly , but i would get gas as the electric runs out fast

Come on, let us see it in action! My friend has a really cool RC car too. I went to his house the other day when he was working on it, and those things are complicated! But what do I know, I've only had a little $15 car, so I don't have any experience or anything in the area. Have fun with it.
Octane Rider 02-01-2004, 01:18 PM I'm not old enough to have a license but my dad allows me to drive this:

It's an electric Acura Mugen NXS, it's pretty quick and sometimes difficult to drive but fun fun fun.

It was a Christmas present and I really enjoy driving it :p .
downhillzeypher 02-01-2004, 01:25 PM Yall need a MAN's RC.
Nitro MT
.21 converted
alloy shock towers
buggy wing conversion
kyosho twin cap shocks
HD steel differential gears
comes out to about $1500, now it sits and collects dust.
Dirtsurfer 02-01-2004, 02:03 PM Back in the day, before gas cars were readily available, I made my own out of an RC10 and a .21 engine. Never really got it up to top speed, air would get under it beforehand and it would try to take off and end up cartwheeling.
bike26 02-01-2004, 02:18 PM My cars got tons of, power for being electric , it hard to drive it in doors so i do donuts on the pool , ( because it if frozen and has a nice glaze ) its sweet though , i got it for x-mas from radio shack it was like 89 cdn
Octane Rider 02-01-2004, 02:59 PM that he spent about $250.00 on the whole thing (car, control, batteries, charges, etc).
If he had asked me about how to spend the 250 I would have preferred upgrades to my bike but what can I say ;)
