Bar H does rock. I haven't tried "Devil's Backbone" yet but plan on including it my next visit there. If not for the crowds, I would say the "Northshore" trail at Grapevine lake would be my favorite. I also really like Johnson Branch State Park, as well as Cleburne State Park.

Based upon ride frequency it's a shootout between the Barton Creek Greenbelt side-trails and City Park, both in Austin area.

Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort definitely get's an honorable mention though.

Never made it to City Park when I still had my hardtail, but I loved the Greenbelt. It didnt hurt that it was on my side of town, but it really does have some nice terrain. Just watch out for the hobo camps, lol.

I just recently moved out of Austin TX, I moved to San Diego. The thing I miss the most about TX is my afternoon rides at Walnut Creek Park. If you haven't been check it out. There are trails for every level there.
Rody.

Yeah I loved Walnut Creek. The only thing I didnt like was having to drive out there as I lived on the opposite end of town. I would literally get lost out there and just keep riding till I found my way back, it was great.

I live in Houston which limits the number of great trails. In Houston I would have to say the Ant Hills.

Out of Houston, I like Rocky Hill Ranch. Great mix of good trails with cheap cold bear and killer burgers at the trail head.

Rocky Hillranch rocked, except for the bad case of poison Ivy or oak I got. The jalapeno avacato burger afterwards was awsome.
