My buddy is looking to upgrade his 02 Edges rear shock, he has found several shock makers already, Fifth Element, Manitou Swinger, Romic. Any body have any feedback or have one of these already on your Edge?

what shock does he have now?
the biggest problem he will find is that since the shock on the edge/slayer is such an odd size, he is gonna have a problem finding anything other than the fox shocks. i recently had my float r rebuilt and added platform technology by PUSH industries and it is amazing how well that shock works. better climber and a hell of a lot better descender. the rear wheel is so much more planted now.
