Jdub from Tulsa, kind of off the subject......womble is a pretty kick-ass area, about as technical as it can get, i assume you've been into Devil's Den St. Park ? Eureka Sprgs ? Both of those places rock also ! And your probably getting ready for the 12 miles of hell here this next month ? I did the race in 98' and had a great time, i even got to take a huge rock home with me..matter of fact, i still have it !!!! Had to ask since I noticed you were from Tulsa...know Brian Duvall ? later

I've ridden the Womble a couple of times, but have never made it ot Devil's Den. Looking to do that and Berryman next summer. Have to check them out.

I'll be at the 12MOH, but only as a photohound. Snapping pics but not racing, that race is truly amazing though. 800 people off the gate at the same time is crazy.

Heard of Brian Duvall, but don't think I've ever met him. Seems like he's bigger on the road circuit than the MTB.

Are you from around this area?

Devils Den is alot like Womble, as for the level of technical type riding, that fragmented rock can really hurt ! Berryman is a great trail, it's a trail that you can get into a big gear and get into a nice groove, unless your riding it in the fall and on 4 inches of leaves !! haha
Yeah your right..i've never experienced anything truely as awesome as the 12MOH, i'd love to do it again! What was the name of that downhill section..

I spent alot of time in the midwest racing and riding and riding. I lived in KC for a few years, working at a local shop. Got to do the 12MOH / Kansas Death Ride / and almost all of the epic stuff around the region....awesome stuff in the mid-west !

Brian was a pretty good friend introduced to me by D Plummer, and I. Kirby ( the same two fellas that told me the only good Oklahomans come from Tulsa ...jokingly ), he use to race mountain bikes solely...until he found out he could sprint like a mad-man possessed, i think he likes the primes he wins in the crits!! haha

Anyway sorry about eating up this thread on personal stuff .. later, Chad

UPDATED!

I have a little more information,

I am using this shock for a Santa Cruz Superlight which mean a eye to eye length of 7.875" and travel of 2" (50mm).

I'm not sure if the Manitou 3 and 4-way will fit on this frame, does anyone of someone running one? It's hard to compare a picture and be certain that all valves are accessible and confirm body clearances.

I might be open to the 5th element, I'm just wary of all the bad results some people have had. My buddy has to fill his every ride, while my old (2000) fox float R holds pressure for over a year at a time...

I'm not looking at the Fox Float with propedal as Santa Cruz actually recommended avoiding this due to the lack of propedal adjustability. Understandble as size suspension ratios vary so widely.

3 way will fit
only question is the reducer sizes
can cehck into it

the 3 way would be my choice for a superlight
