So Im going to a ski camp in Mt. Hood. I wont be able to go anywhere by car so I was wondering how Mt. Hood Summer Ski Bowl is because its real close to Govy. Camp and i want to get some kind of riding in whil im down there. Is it any good freeriding or is it more XC. How are the rentals there too.

There is a dh and xc race there this weekend. The downhill course is brutal and steep, rough with big jagged rocks. Not much fun to ride on but a good dh race course. They have two chairlifts, one goes half way up, the other goes to the top. There is a gravel road that meanders down from the top, nice views of Hood.
If you want fun freeriding, trail or xc go to Post Canyon in Hood River. Hope that helps.
