I like the looks of the new “Outkaster 29er” in the bronzes color. Does anyone have one yet? It looks like a good entry way to go…

Hertz14 07-23-2007, 12:35 PM Are they coming out with a 29er full suspension? strumpetto 07-23-2007, 01:40 PM Who knows what is coming out next. As far as the 29er, someone said it weights 33 lbs? Like to know the source of this information. Personally, I don't think it could weight that much. It's allum wtih chromo fork. I am looking into gettign one for some trials and general urban. Take it to school, in fact. corprin 07-24-2007, 05:49 AM mine is in a box at my best friend's house in California. I will have a full ride report of my outcast 29er (got it in silver) when I get it back to Japan in 3 weeks. mx126 09-01-2007, 08:10 PM I have had one for about 2 months. It is a matte grey color, I think it is an 07. So far I have had a great time on the bike. I have used it for trails, beach, street and even took it on a road bike ride. Kind of hard to keep the cdc up on the road bike ride but it did well considering I only had one speed. Mine is straight stock except for clipless pedals. Only complaint I have is the rims are kind of weak in my opinion but for the money it has held up to my abuse well. Hertz14 09-02-2007, 06:22 AM Thanks for the info, I can't wait to shop for my new ride this winter when the prices drop. I don't ride extreme stuff so I don't think I need a full suspension. I think I will demo out some 29ers this fall and see if there is a frame that will work for me. Motobecane looks like they pack some nice components on the bikes, any help on what is out there and personal feelings about a certain bike are more than welcome. esdubya 12-26-2007, 10:19 AM mine is in a box at my best friend's house in California. What is the verdict corprin? Also, anyone know the weight of this bike? tydydownthehighway 01-12-2008, 11:46 AM Boy,is this bike a pain. |
