I just gotta tell someone!!!!
My mate was looking for a new hardtail and saw that there was an apollo LSX1.3 for sale in Melbourne which went from $900 down to $570
After my mate talked to the guy down in Melbourne, it was revealed that they only have XL sizes.... rather than M or L
Anyway, he went around bike shopping at woolys, blackman, bike barn, universe cycles and clarence st cyclery.... most of them were too up themselves to negotiate price and some were just plain rude
we went to ABC bikes in Liverpool and their customer service was great... they were able to offer a '03 Kona NulaNula for $1099 down from $1299.... they could also do a Kona Blast for $800 down from $999.... anyway, we went away from there thinking the prices were damn good
BUT
as planned, we went down to kerry at phantom cycles to pick up my VT3 after a service.... and they had a Kona Blast there.... my mate took it for a blast :D  and was very happy with the fit and ride.....

after a wait, we got around to talk price.... Kerry simply offered the bike for $570 :D we just thought, WOW!!.... no negotiation, just a jaw dropping price!! that is just amazing from $1099 to $999
it is an '03 model Kona Blast with a Marzochi EXR Comp fork, V-brakes, Deore running gear and Dbl butted frame......

Just had to share this because it is just such a good price and Kerry is such a good bloke... whether you are asking for a free sticker or buying a $5 tube or buying a $7000 bike.. you always get fantastic service....
and u never get the bad attitude like in Sydney regardless how busy he is.....
AMAZING!! :)
sorry, i don't mean it to be a free plug... but just sharing... when you know of a good thing... i can't help it
