Yes you can get the 04 blue Dragon frame with rim brake compatability. I know, I got one.

So yours then has both rim and disk mounts? That is what I am realy hoping for and hoping they are all that way and do not need to be special ordered.

I only wish they had rack eyelets on the dropouts too. But I can't have everything.

I am currently riding a 2004 Dakota XC. Note that the frame I have does not have v-brake mounts fitted like the 2003 Dakota XC. It does however have rack mounts. Fortunately it is simple to braze on a set of v-brake mounts / rack eyelets to a steel frame if need be.
