I am starting a project of building up a full suspension tandem.

Captain plus stoker equals 300 pounds..... so I figure you Clydesdales guys might have some good advice.

My problem is..... I need a stout downhill fork.... with some kind of lockout for climbing uphill.... a contradiction of terms. All tandems climb poorly, so some way to combat the 'Bob' factor would be helpful

I just posted under " Let's talk about Shocks" with more information about what I'm doing and the forks and I'm considering.

Please help me out.... as info on tandem forks is scarce and outdated.

Thanks, E K Loco

Check out White Industries. I think they have one of the few forks out there esp. designed for tandems. . . don't know that an AM for will cut it, given the weight of a tandem. You might also call Alex at MTB Tandems and get his opinion.
