Can anyone tell me about this bike? After checking online I've found that this bike is mainly sold by BikesDirect and a couple people on Ebay. Online they seem to be selling for about $300 which appears to be a good discount off the MSRP of $700. People tend to poopoo the mail order bikes but seems to me if you are handy and do your own adjusting the price discount is worth it. I don't expect a pro-quality bike for this price but for a recreational rider who rides twice weekly with the family on country roads as well as hard packed trails it seems like a good choice.
Anybody have good or bad experiences with the Moto Jubilee? Hey thanks!

There is no msrp of 700, that is just a made up number. I would avoid the jubilee bc it sounds like a comfort/hybrid bike.

Just get something like a Trek 3900 or Specialized hardrock, which have much better resale value.
The jubilee isn't amazingly spec'd for the price,
Although it does have deore deraillers, its a hybrid.
You don't need deore on a hybrid cruiser :-)

From your description, it’s seem you are looking for this type of bike. A run about, weekend rider. It’s has a quality frame w/adjustable riser for adjusting your handle bar height. It should be a relaxing ride. I order a bike from bikesdirect.com after xmas and got a Fantom elite… Awesome bike! The bike showed up in excellent condition and took about 15 min from start to finish.

Thanks Fred
You nailed it. Just need a comfortable weekend rider for light trail and urban riding around the Jersey shore town. Looking for best bang for the buck in the >$500. range. I have put bikes together before so I'm not afraid to save some cash by trying it myself.
Thanks and I'll give that website you posted a look.
Adios - banger

A comfort bike is comfortable being slow but not going fast if you know what i mean..
