With a 100k and 200k option, Riders can challenge themselves with a
long gradual climb followed by a short steep climb through classic
old growth national forest on a quiet 2 lane road.

Westfir marks the beginning of the Aufderheide National Forest
Scenic Byway (Forest Service Road 19), we will start and finish at
the 180-foot Office Bridge, Oregon's longest covered bridge. Then
follow the "Wild and Scenic" North Fork of the Middle Fork of the
Willamette through The Gorge, a twisting canyon lined with 1,000-
foot-high rocks with a rest stop at Constitution Grove, a 200-year-
old-growth forest, before a challenging 2 mile climb up to Box
Canyon. Where the turn around point for the Metric Century will be,
as well as a second rest stop.

If you continue on to the 200k Mark, you will be rewarded with a
fun, fast, twisty descent along the South Fork of the McKenzie River
turning into a rolling route along Cougar Reservoir to Cougar Dam
with a final descent down to Delta Campground and the 100k mark and
the turnaround point, with a rest stop. For the return trip home be
ready for a challenging climb back up from Delta Campground. Make
sure to watch for Deer, Elk, and the occasional Oregon Bobcat as the
road ascends back along Cougar Reservoir and the South Fork of the
McKenzie River back to Box Canyon. The descent back into Westfir is
rolling but mostly downhill along the North Fork of the Middle Fork
of the Willamette River.

Downhill and Freeride Park (The park is pending approval-check
before coming)
Spend the day at Willamette Pass on their new downhill runs. Push
yourself to new speeds, get major air and hangout with your friends.
Then at The Westfir Outpost challenge yourself or your friends to
some North Shore style freeriding. This non-competition playground
will be open at 3:00PM and open to all riders willing to huck
themselves towards the earth. The cost to enter the park will be
$5.00. Then stick around to see the best of the Willamette Valley
put on a Freeride show and show everyone how it is done.
