I've seen recent ads on the new Maverick 5" Single Crown. Any word on when it may be released. A Sweet looking fork, may go after it or the Nixon for my 5-Spot.

I talked to them at Riva bike Marathon amd I think they said late this year. Don't hold me up on it. I'm thinking of getting one too.

Just FYI, the single crown is designed for frames that cannot take a 6" fork nor a triple crown. It is the same internals just a little shorter and without the $$ welded lower crown or integrated stem. If your frame can take the DUC (the 5 Spot certainly can) then do the it. It'll be way stiffer, another inch of travel, virtually the same weight, etc. I have one and it rocks.

Still the single crown sounds awesome for shorter travel XC frames. Thinking about one for my singlespeed.
