I'm looking for a new set of cranks for a singlespeed bike I'm building.
Roox look like they might be a strong contender - but not many people seem to use them and there are hardly any customer reviews around.

I'm wondering if there is a reason for their unpopularity - maybe it's just because they are an Austrailian brand with limited stockists?

Austrian, not Australian. Means they're easy to get in the EU, but often a pain to get anywhere else.

My reason for staying away from them: the hole in the middle may look nice, but it creates a stress riser. Why buy a crank with that, when it weighs as much as a Turbine LP and costs as much as a Turbine LP, and takes much longer to get?
