View Full Version : EVO's weight? acelp11 08-16-2006, 05:01 AM I can't find the weight in their site, I've seen 7lbs (seems unlikely) and 9 (unlikely too) can someone confirm? ronny 08-16-2006, 06:45 AM I never weighed the frame by itself, but with the DHX air, it is close to 8lbs and with the coil, the weight is closing in on 9lbs. zyl8tr 08-16-2006, 09:04 AM I have the dhx air and my bathroom scale says "9lbs". slowrider 08-16-2006, 02:33 PM Not sure but Chumba estimated the XCL weight at 7 LBS and the EVO should have a couple Lbs. on the XCL. Jordan 08-16-2006, 03:33 PM I tested an EVO built up with standard high-end all-mountain parts and a 36 Talas RC2 fork, and it weighed 35.5lbs. I would guess frame weight is in the 9lb range with a DHX Air. duke777 08-20-2006, 10:09 PM Mine is just over 8.5 but mine has no paint either. uinta 08-21-2006, 01:28 PM My Evo is just under 9 lbs. |
