View Full Version : CK Driveshell Thread Depth (or lack thereof)

I remember a while back some messages on the old board regarding Chris King's driveshells and lockring engagement depth. I did a search and couldn't come up with anything. As for my driveshell with an XT cassette, I only get two/three threads of engagement. It has never loosened up on me, but I can't believe that CK would make something short like that.

Let me know if anybody can shed some light on this subject.

Thanks a bunch!

I emailed CK as well, and they too said I needed to purchase one of their lockrings with a deeper shoulder on it. So, I ordered one this morning.

Glad to see I'm not the only person with this problem.

Later,

Chris
