just got a trek fuel with os handlebar (31.8mm) - now my lights don't attach. anyone had this problem? i am planing on checking out a spacebar type part, but wondered if there is a better alternative, or if they will even make one to attach to os bars yet. my light for the bar is performance viewpoint dual pro.

For instance, Nite Rider makes a "Universal" mount that adapts to 31.8 bars and smaller, and VDO makes a "hose clamp" style computer mounts that has no trouble with the oversized diameter.

I saw the Nite Rider bracket, but wasn't sure if the "universal" meant that it would mount the NIte Rider brand lights to any bar, or if it would also adapt other brands to any size bar. What about the VDO? I'll take a look around for it. Thanks.

It's Niterider part # 1050. It'll cover everything, even side-to-side adjustment.

The VDO computer I have is the MC 1.0. Double check whatever computer you decide on since mounts have a tendancy to change.
