I had a question about the adjustment of this fork (F80RL). I've got it set to 85 psi, i think (my weight=180-185) and have attached a zip tie to check the travel. This is the max travel that i have had...

Is this the as far as it should travel, or should the pressure be adjusted to increase it a little more?

Thanks for any comments.

Um, I don't know anything about Foxes, but, I do know that this should be in the "Lets Talk About Shocks" Forum. The F80RL is no AM fork, but I'll try to help. 3 of the 4 forks I've owned do this - coil and air. Most forks will have 120mm of travel, but 130mm stanchions or 80mm of travel, 95mm stanchions, etc. I don't know why the companies do this, but you probably should not worry. :)

If that is the travel you use on a normal XC ride that is fairly flat then you are using too much travel. If your riding is jumping hard impacts then your probibly fine. If you do alot of stopies heavy braking fun takes travel. :)
