Today I took a test ride on the Epic. There is no bob. None. That Brain shock works wonders. Feels just like a hardtail when pedaling. A curb or drop off, now it feels like a FS bike. I can't imagine a better bike.
It's just that Stumpjumper FSR frame looks so nice.
For me it's either the Epic or the Stump.

My advice is to always go with performance over looks. What's more important to you, riding the bike or looking at the bike? Man, if you love the Epic, then get an Epic. Otherwise everytime you ride the FSR there will be that little voice in the back of your head questioning your decision.
