I rode these trails based on the recommendation from a guy (owner?) of Cycle Therapy in Burnt Hills, who is extremely friendly. If you're looking for a C-dale locally, they carry a full line.

The single tracks located in some areas were very technical, especially the white and blue markers. As you gain elevation, the trail spits and widens up into many directions. However they are still pretty steep...extremely fast with lots of air on the way down. It was my first time there so I'm not too familiar with the park...if anyone who is interested in riding there, lets hook up for a group ride. BTW, it was dried.

happy trial,

Rode these trails for the first time today. It was a pretty fun ride, but mere mortals (like me) will expect to hike-a-bike a lot to avoid broken bones. There is a fairly significant penalty for error on some of the technical sections (drink your milk!). The ride begins with a steepish climb up a logging road to technical singletracks on the ridge- a lot of rocks, challenging climbs, and steep descents. A few muddy spots, but overall it was pretty dry. Our route was basically the climb up the logging road, left on red trail, to blue, white, and eventually yellow. Steep, technical singletrack descent on the yellow trail (we missed the high-speed downhill on the logging road). There are some good views of the Spier Falls area from the yellow trail. We didn't see any humans in the three hours we were riding. It's not a ride to do alone, unless you are either very good or very cautious.
