I've been researching ways to drink my calories and came across some references to "Spiz" for ultraendurance racing. I'm planning on a 24 hr solo later this year and have begun to experiment with different eating strategies in my training. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?

I've tried it and I found it disgusting. They had it at the Solvang Century a few years ago and I nearly fell off my bike when I took a swig from my bottle. No one I was with liked it either.

There was a raffle at the end of the ride, and we were joking that first prize was one carton of Spiz, and second prize was two cartons.
