shucks about the race--i was dreading "racing" 3 laps but was thinking about volunteering for a course marshall or sweep or something and would have even paid an entry fee for the cause to have been able to ride the trail backwards. oh well--good memories of the three times I did get to ride out at Kualoa.

good luck with the races next summer/fall--I'll be back to the mainland sometime between March and May but will occasionally check in the local boards and HBL to see howzit over here.

Well I was going to jump in and still would have, but since its X'd I dont mind sleeping in this weekend. That Xterra bike course kicked my ass, good fun, but basically uphill 3000ft then downhill, screaming good fun. Its amazing the pros got around that course in under 3 hrs,,,me? I was 4 1/2 hrs! and tired. Maybe should finally try to get into shape.
