The stem seems a little on the long side, me thinks.
The price point they are shooting for is incredible given the full carbon fiber frame. It makes it pretty competitive with the Turners, Titus, etc.
Though the Independent Tungsten Ti with DW link is still in the realm of if you gotta ask you can't afford it.

Though the IF is as getting close to the perfect aggressive XC bike I can think of. 4" of rear, w/ DW link and lightweight.
I think the perfect aggressive XC bike would be 4.5" of rear and 5-5lbs frame/shock weight.
