I am looking to do a 4 day weekend in Oregon on Easter weekend. How are the trails around Bend and Sisters that time of year. Any recommendation besides the ones in the books you can get about that area. :)

You can ride Phil's Trails that time of year. Nice trail. Jaybo Nat 03-25-2004, 06:50 AM Bend trails are still snowy and wet right now. It's been warm lately so the trails might be dry by mid-April, but maybe not. Page me as you get closer to trip time and I'll report on the trail conditions. Epic views at the summit of 7 mountain peaks and Smith Rocks, a kick start your heart climb, and pretty dang fun decents. Great singletrack. After, you could do a hike around Smith Rocks if you haven't done so before. It's an amazing place. I did this ride a few weeks ago and it had a bit of mud, but it should be clear by now, and surely will be good around Easter. There's a good trail description of the ride on the Central Oregon trail map that can be purchased at any of the LBS' in Bend. If this warm weather keeps up, I bet a good portion of Phil's would be clear. But like Nat said, check in first to find out the scoop. I am looking to do a 4 day weekend in Oregon on Easter weekend.
