It's no secret I prefer trails that are buff, longish, and of little incline.
It's no secret that I was disappointed in the lack of much organized XC activity when I first arrived here.
Said that I am learning to cope.
I see where riding Mililani and getting caught is a misdemeanor now instead of a minor violation.
It's a pretty good chance I'll depart for the mainland next spring or summer. There's friends and some riding in hawaii I'll miss. There's other variables that i won't miss at all.

When/where/how did this come up? Misdemeanor? Nice! I feel like such a hooligan now!

from a post by AW: "On Friday, Gov. Linda Lingle signed into law two bills designed to make it easier to battle trespassing on farmlands....
Act 181 establishes the offense of criminal trespass in the second degree if a person enters or remains on agricultural lands without permission, if the land is posted.
The law raises the offense on a farm from a violation to a misdemeanor, which means the offender can be arrested...."
So, I guess that includes the privately owned Mililani land.............?

I know here in Oahu the MTB scene consists of mainly DH it seems; not much XC going on--although there are some barely suitable trails.
So if you wanna ride with people here, road biking is definately the game.
