i won a moots smoothie blend in a race (frame only), and now i'm trying to decide if i should build it up and race on it or sell it and buy something else. there doesn't seem to be that many reviews on the smoothie blend. so i'm curious if they are really all that. the frame is worth so much change i could sell it and buy a complete bike. does anyone have any advice?

I'd say that unless it fits you perfectly and it's a frame you'd pick out of an extensive list if you were buying one retail, you should probably sell it and put it toward something of your choice. That frame could net you enough cash for a very nice complete bike. It's listed for $2450 at speedgoat.
