...from Dropmachine, posted on Pinkbike as well.
An information session on the initiative regarding mountain biking in the Don/Crothers' Woods.
The session is this Saturday, March 13th from 12-2pm at the Don Valley Brick Works (Building #1) and will be an informal gathering for riders and other interested people to ask questions about the work to date and proposed for the upcoming year, as well as how to get involved.
Please pass this message on to others you may know who would be interested in attending. If you have any questions, you may reach me at 416-392-0373
Thanks and hope to see you on Saturday!
Keri

The Brickworks are on Bayview south of Pottery Rd on the North/West side. If the weather is ok I'm sure a few people will ride in (I will not be one of them.)
I looked at the ttc site and there doesn't seem to be any buses going along Bayview at that point (I've never seen one when I've driven by.)
Here is more contact info off of Pinkbike if it might help.

If you can't make it don't worry too much, it'll be an information session only (although a good turnout would send a better message to the city reps)
I'm sure at a later date when trail work is scheduled it'll be easier for you to attend since you'll be able to ride in!
Later

Ok. I know somebody involved with the group was posting on here previously and I'm hoping they're going to check out this thread.
I don't think I'm going to be able to attend this meeting but when I was at the IMBA booth the guy mentioned trail building days that I would like to attend later this year. I figured they would be on the IMBA website (they're not) or they would be announced on here. Anybody know those two other dates?

I spoke Jim Best regarding IMBA trail workshop days, I was under the impression they were not for the public, more for the land owners/parks people. I'll see if I can find out more from him and get back to you in this thread.
I'll also try to get a contact email for the Don Valley group of riders that will be setting up the trail work days. I hope lots of people turn up, it would show the city we're serious about working together on this.

That would be great and I was under the impression from the IMBA rep I spoke to that the trail days would be open to any IMBA member. I would think your'd want as many people as possible knowledgeable in building trails. FYI: They were selling a how to guide at the show.
