    XXXL Helmet Needed...

Hi everyone, a little help needed. I NEED a helmet to fit my head, not that my head that big but I have dreads. I now wear the GIRO VENTI which was the largest that I could find, if weren't for my hair it would fit fine. I would like to know of any maker that may make a size 9 or better size helmet or a custom maker of such a helmet. Willing to pay the extra as long as it fits. Thanks

ask monzie what he wears. He has dreads, also.

My shop carries the Bell XLV and some folks with big hair have found it to work for them. Not sure if it's much different from the Giro Venti, though.

As far as I know, Bern Brentwood come in xxxl. You can also try a Giro Feature, they run pretty big. Hope it helps.

Take a look at the Specialized MAXX. It's way bigger than my oversized jug requires, as comfy as my previous Giro Xen, and very inexpensive to boot for a helmet with a dial type retention system.

The sizing is listed as XL/XXL which is pretty much on the mark. I am a true XL with my GIRO helmets, but my head is tiny inside the POC. Unfortunately my head was slightly too big for the large helmet, but the straps and padding make the XL a very comfortable fit. I measured the inside of the helmet and it's roughly 23cm x 17cm without padding.
