What shoes do you use - Platform

    Hi!

No... it isn`t a smelly post!
What kind of shoes do you use with platform?

    Rigid or flexy?
    DC/Vans type?

Since my Answers "broke up" on me, I would like to have some opinions!

    thanks!

5.10s looks like the wondershizzle. I'll be picking me up a set sooner or later, but I just use Orchid BMX shoes or whatever skateshoe i have on at the time.

DC soft compound shoes work really well

I like the 5.10s for downhill, but for urban/DJ I like regular skate shoes. The 5.10s are almost too sticky. I like to be able to shift my feet a little more.

5.10's are nice, got em, but they're not for everything.

Shimano DX, 661 Filter, Just about any BMX shoes - skate shoes tend to have thinner soles which I personnally dont like one ikkle bit.

If they're for DH then 5.10's no question, otherwise - question!

True... I would never wear my 5.10s for anything but DH. They are way to sticky to wear at the skatepark or something like that.

wUrd, the insoles kept sliding forward, it was really annoying, plus the tread doesn't last nearly as long as the 5-10's. I think my 5-10's are going on season 3, and they look like they got 3 more after this one.

Anyone tried different 5.10s? Like the multisport ones which have two types of rubber compoud (S1 & C4). Could be slightly less sticky but great as an all round shoe?

I'm thinking about it rather then getting the straight out FR shoe.

    Or Camp Four perhaps

The legendary Sam Hill certainly has good taste!

I've been running the old 661 Dually's for almost 3 years. Finally wore 'em out. Picking up a new set of the Descned Taki's. Sole's look very similar to the 5.10's. I'll let you know next week how they work out.

If sketchers designed a shoe it would look like those 5.10's. Shimano sh-mp66l the best shoes hands down.

    vans..

but looking into 5.10 although there is a place here in the uk where you can have 5.10 soles put on any shoe, but considering price of vans £55 then £30 for sole seems exspensive option.

and why on earth do we need sam hill shoes hes a downhiller not a designer and for good reason.
