    wet race clothing

    i have a race tomorrow and its going to be raing, between 43-50 degrees and as muddy a tractor pull....just wasn't to sure on what i should wear to race (tights, arm warmers, jacket etc)

    I'd wet my race clothes too if I had to race in those conditions! How warmly you dress is really a personally choice. I don't like to be cold, so I would dress warmly, using arm warmers. If you think you can ride without tight, do it. They always make me feel slow and get caught up on the seat during downhills and stuff.

    You might want to set up your brakes so you can adjust them on the fly if the pads wear down quickly.

    I did 2 races in the rain last year, I just wore what I wore normally and it was okay. The rain makes for a totally differnet (and interesting) experience. I highly recommend it.

    just wondering if you were referring to the root 66 race at hopbrook.
