It looks like they are available: Teva® Pivot for Men | Clipless Bike Shoes at Teva.com

I wish there was somewhere local to me to try them on. I like the style and the whole "looks bad with spandex" philosophy.

You can certainly order them, but this pops up when you check out. "BACKORDER
THIS ITEM IS EXPECTED TO SHIP ON WED JUN 26 2013."

I'd like to see these in person as well.

I like the look. I imagine they are light weight, but it would be best to check them out in person.

The Pivot's sure do look nice and appear to be very well engineered. But for me, no lace cover is deal breaker. I ride in dirt, dust, wet, and mud. Having laces that collect all that gunk is a mess. As nice as these look, I'll stick with Mavic Alpine XL's even though they make me feel like a stormtrooper.

So I ordered and received a pair based on the recommendation of a local shop owner I know who got an early pair around Interbike last year and he loves them. I am usually between sizes and ordered up based on some Teva street shoes I have. Anyway they were a bit large, called today to exchange for a smaller size and was told they have been "recalled." They disappeared off the website and the dude on the phone said something vague about cleat bonding and alignment issues. Strange. Anyway it's too bad because they were way lighter than my Minnars and seamed like what I was looking for.
