    Stretching shrunken wool jersey?

Anyone done this? I tried putting it in hot water then stretching by hand and laying it out, worked a bit but looking for more.
    Any products or tricks?

Try soaking it in water and hang dry the item. Worked with wool sweaters. I think hot water would shrink it more.

Cold water. You can stretch it some, bit it will never return to the original size. May need to stretch it after every washing, too.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

Not exactly, but I have gotten some old wool garms, unintentionally shrunk. Wash cold, and pull over a back of a dining chair, or tailored piece of foam core board.
