Shoes for a girlie biker on flat pedals

    Morning guys and girls.

Anyone got any experience of some shoes that look feminine, and are designed specifically for riding on flat pedals? My wife is currently wearing reebok running shoes, on Canonndale resin flat pedals. Inefficient and slippy, especially in this nasty UK weather.

Maybe white with pink, but not like a Barbie doll?

I've looked for her on wiggle, but don't see anything suitable, as almost all are specifically SPD type shoes.

    Cheers

    Chris

Cheers for the suggestions guys. Got her a pair of these in the end Pearl Izumi Women X-Road white/true red: Amazon.co.uk: Shoes & Accessories

Loves them, but still slippy in the wet, and as we are going to the London Bike Show in a couple of weeks, will try and pick up a nice pair of pedals too.

    stick with 5.10

My wife wears these (prior year model had more feminine colour scheme, but still worth mentioning as a great shoe for flats ... she loves them ... they stick fine with plastic pedals):

    5.10 Sam Hills are white.
I'm enjoying my childhood way too much to ever give it up.

5 10 karvers (grey/purple) are a good shoe. I've had mine for 2 years and all I need is new laces... I think I'll go with pink... its my DH theme color.

I have a pair of Teva links (grey/purple) good trail shoe but not as grippy on the pedals as the 5 10s

My gf digs her Five Ten Chase shoes. They're a parkour shoe I believe and a lot lighter weight than the MTB specific shoes.
