any typical skate shoe works perfectly, i got my vanz for 30$ and they worked perfectly until the grips ran out and i started slippin a little. But then i put on knee/shin gaurds and was just fine again haha. Or u could always go with the 661 luanch shoes which are "specifcally" designed for bikin around but i wouldnt say they are worth it.

so in the end, i recomend goin over to any store and pickin up a general skate shoe.

o ya, and make sure they look real sweet cause hey...its not how good u ride, its how good u look while riding

skate shoes work perfect. theyre meant to grip skateboards and usually have tread patterns that grip pedals well.

i have a pair of circa cx404s and theyre nice

I have been riding ETNIES for the past 5 years , there the best riding shoes out there .
There new shoes with the system G2 insert feel totally comfortable and soft on the inside with the sole being just hard enough to really hook up with your pedals .

My favorite "riding shoe " they make is the formula or the Rooftop 3 pretty sure there the same shoe . The Tribune is similer to the older Mike Valley signiture shoe( best shoe ever made hands down!! ) with an air pocket in the heal . But on the pedals these things feel kinda bouncy ..oh well good for the bar and hitting on the ladies !

    I would have...

...gladly bought these, but they are barking impossible to find online. I only found 3 or 4 places that have them in stock, and each one only had one or two (!) sizes.

    Too bad.

Call Cactus Bike, they have quite a few pairs in stock. What size are you looking for? I saw a stack of them there the other day.

I second (or third...) the 5.10's. I've used all kinds of skate type shoes including Vans diamond treads which are the second best IMO.
