    Shoe Suggestions?

After being out of the loop for almost 8 years I'm finally getting back into this. Riding a '13 Cannondale F29 with XT m785 pedals. Was wondering suggestions for a comfortable and and durable mtb shoe

Try looking at Pearl Izumi's new X-projects. Can't speak on durability. Also, Specialized, Mavic, Giro, Sidi, Shimano, to name a few.

Too many variables involved with shoe choice, and what's comfortable for one person could be torture for another.

For me being out of the loop for 8 years wouldn't change a thing, I'd still stick with Sidi Dominators.

Have been riding knobbies since 87. Have tried many shoe brands over the years. Currently I have three pairs biking shoes and they are all Lakes. MXZ 302s for really cold riding, MX100s (they are water and wind proof) for moderately cold and MX 165s for all the other times.

I'm planning to go back to Sidis this spring.

+1 re the individual foot variations. The good news is that there is a good selection available. I went with Shimano M162 based on great fit for me.
