Shimano MT53 MTB Shoe -- sizing

I am looking to buy these shoes but not sure whether to go with 41 or 42.

I have used both sizes and since some manufacturers run a bit small or large depending on how you look at it I was wondering if anyone had and comments that would help.

    I use an 8USA which is in between 41 & 42

I was wondering the same thing. I am an 11b shoe which is a 45 i think. My old Lakes ran a little narrow, so I ran a 45. My Specialized trail 110 hightops are a 44, a schooch short but good in the width. 83% of reviewers on Zappos say the Shimanos run true to size, 17% call them narrow.

I'd love to hear other opinions as well...

I checked all my shoes and I have several of both. so, which of the ones that i have are true to size.

Ill go with a bit bigger. I wont be using them other than to ride and some walking/hiking to get through portions that can not be ridden
