    Riding Shorts

I bought some riding shorts the other day, didn't really try them on, I bought the size that I normaly wear. But the problem that I have is in the padding area, it feels big to me. do you have any suggestions of how to fix that? How do I purchase them for next time. They did seem to help quite a bit, they were a good purchase. i am very glad that I did. Just have that one concern and seems problem. I am new to riding gear and Mountain biking. So all help and suggestions are appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Koby,

If you mean you feel like you are wearing a diaper when you say it feels big... I think that is the way it is suppose to feel.

I use a tight Lycra padded type shorts under regular shorts. Mine fits tight up under me a bit like I would assume a diaper would feel. Not sure how padded shorts should feel but I wish I would have gotten them instead because I don't like the tight feeling around my boys. Wish it was a little looser. It can kinda squeeze them up on the seat which is not a good feeling. Got racked good once because of this and had a mild testicle ache for a few days.

They are a two part short, they have the lyrca shorts underneith then over them it is baggy shorts, sort of like regualar shorts, but they are a thin layer sort of like swiming trunks. I would eventually like a second pair. maybe a little smaller.

Shorts shouldn't have extra fabric in the crotch area. It should fit the contours ... other wise the material could catch on the seat.
