My old shimano blue and leather high tops have bit the dust. I stocked up in the mid 90s, but they're all dead now. I need a reasonably priced mid to high top clipless pedal shoe that covers the ankle. There doesnt seem to be much choice these days for anything but low shoes. I like the Mavic Scree, but I'm not willing to shell out 180€. I'd like to stay in the 100€ range. Does anyone have any suggestions?
For what kind of riding do you need them? XC or Am? There won't be many mid xc shoes I believe.
You can get Mavic Alpine Xl or Scree for €120 and €140 at bike-discount.de. Since you used euro as currency I assume you live here and ordering from Germany isn't a problem.
If you ride Am then you might be interested in Giro Chamber mid on bike24.com. It's €135.
