    Rattlesnake protection

With the recent encounters of multiple rattlesnakes on a couple of my local favorite trails, I've decided it might be worth looking into some snake protection from the trails. Aside from shin protection out there, does anyone have any suggestions on a recommended gaitor that they use when riding?

all the "snake" gaiters i see would be cumbersome to ride in as they go up to your knee. seems like there a lot of snakes this year. i'm in michigan and i've actually ran over a juvie and an adult on 2 separate times. luckily neither of them or i got hurt. our rattlers out here are the most docile of the vipers though. handling them is not a problem if need be

    Rattlesnake protection

That's what I've noticed. I feel like someone has to have put out a shin protection that safely covers the ankles as well.
